Intermediate Biology
Course Description
This private high school class covers all topics in Biology at the level of the first year college Biology class for majors. Weekly lectures and lesson tests help students gain mastery of the advanced concepts in Biology so they are ready to compete in Biology competitions and take Advanced Biology at Prestige STEM.
Prerequisites
The prerequisite for the Intermediate Biology class is Honors Biology, either taken at Prestige STEM Academy or elsewhere.
About the Instructor

Since 2012, Dr. Lin has been teaching honors, AP and advanced Biology classes to high school and middle school students. With a B.A. in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley, an M.A. in Evolution and Animal Behavior and Human Psychology, and a Doctor of Medicine degree , Dr. Lin is well equipped to pass on his plethora of knowledge. Over 20 years, he has taught over 1000 students, many of whom have excelled in AP Biology exams and Biology competitions. In large part to his mentorship and instruction, many were also accepted to elite colleges such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, and MIT.
