English 2
Course Description
In English 2, students continue to develop their reading and analytical skills as they read Of Mice and Men and Oedipus The King, adding discussions of character and historical context. Students also develop their persuasive writing and research skills, as they spend the first six weeks writing a persuasive essay on the topic of their choosing.

About the Instructor
Sabrina Rentschler
Ms. Sabrina Rentschler has been teaching with the Prestige STEM Academy team for the last year. She has become an extremely popular instructor, and focuses on high school humanities.
Currently, she leads major humanities classes at Prestige STEM Academy such as English 1 through English 4, AP English Language, and AP English Literature. Additionally, she also teaches some STEM classes such as AP Psychology and AP Environmental Science.
