Course Description
Competition Math Basic 2 is designed to introduce 2nd graders to the exciting world of competitive mathematics. This course focuses on developing foundational math skills through engaging activities and challenges that stimulate critical thinking and problem-solving. Students will explore essential concepts and techniques to prepare for math competitions and build a strong mathematical foundation.

About the Instructor
Candy Clough
Ms. Candy Clough is a retired public school teacher with 18 years of experience teaching young students. She was selected as a 2018 Teacher of America, and has consistently shown why she is deserving of this honor.
Ms. Candy Clough has been teaching with the Prestige STEM Academy team for the last year. During this time, she led the 2nd through 4th grade Language Arts classes and had glowing evaluations from parents the entire year. She continues to teach Language Arts to elementary and middle grade students, and is committed to providing the highest quality instruction possible to these young minds.
