AP Spanish
Course Description
AP Spanish is an advanced course designed for high school students who wish to develop and refine their Spanish language skills while gaining a deep understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures. This course prepares students for the AP Spanish Language and Culture exam through an immersive curriculum that emphasizes communication, cultural competency, and critical thinking.
Students will engage in authentic language experiences, including reading and analyzing texts, listening to native speakers, writing essays, and participating in discussions. The course focuses on real-world applications of the Spanish language, encouraging students to use their skills in meaningful and practical contexts.
Prerequisites
Students should have successfully completed Spanish I, II, and III (or equivalent courses) at their respective schools.
About the Instructor
Sabrina Rentschler
Ms. Sabrina Rentschler has been teaching with the Prestige STEM Academy team for the last year. She has become an extremely popular instructor, and focuses on high school humanities.
Currently, she leads major humanities classes at Prestige STEM Academy such as English 1 through English 4, AP English Language, and AP English Literature. Additionally, she also teaches some STEM classes such as AP Psychology and AP Environmental Science.
