AP Psychology
Course Description
AP Psychology aims to guide students to systematically and scientifically study human behavior and psychological processes. By studying psychologists and related research, students will explore and apply psychological theory, key concepts, and topics related to biological basis, perception and perception, learning and cognition, motivation, developmental psychology, psychometrics and individual differences, and treatment of psychological disorders and phenomena in topics such as social psychology. During the course, students will apply psychological research methods, including ethical considerations, apply the scientific method, evaluate claims and evidence, and communicate ideas effectively.
This course aims to enable students to understand and be familiar with the basic concepts, theories and research methods of psychology, as well as to master the practical application and analysis ability of psychology.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for AP Psychology. Students should be able to read a college-level textbook and write grammatically correct, complete sentences.

Sabrina Rentschler is an experienced AP Biology educator with a wealth of teaching experience and professional expertise. Sabrina is a top-performing student in the Biology program at UC Berkeley, possessing an outstanding academic background and a deep understanding of biology. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree. Her expertise and enthusiasm will provide students with a profound learning experience, inspiring their interest in life sciences and a spirit of exploration.
She is responsible for teaching courses including STEM subjects such as AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science and AP Biology. Ms. Rentschler, s passionate about teaching, and her teaching style is well-loved by students. Through her guidance, students excel and perform exceptionally well in both humanities and STEM fields. With her professional knowledge and extensive experience, she delivers excellent education to students, aiding them in achieving success in their academic and personal development.
